Calling is the fastest route, day or night. For non-urgent work you can send the details and we will come back with a time.
What to have ready
- Your city and address
- What is happening and when it started
- Whether a breaker has tripped, and which type it is
- Your service size in amps, if you know it
- Photos of the panel or the affected outlet, if it is safe to take them
If it is an emergency
Burning smells, smoke, sparking outlets, a panel that is hot or buzzing, or partial power across the house are all reasons to call rather than email. If you see smoke or flame, call 911 first.
More detail on what to do in the first five minutes is in our electrical emergency checklist.
